About
Coming from the serene shores of Port Lincoln, South Australia, Jo Page emerges as a seasoned independent singer/songwriter, crafting irresistible melodies and heartfelt stories that resonate with audiences far and wide.
Inspired by the sounds of world renowned artists like Shania Twain, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, and Linkin Park, Jo's musical journey began in the most humble of settings.
From singing in the bath at the tender age of 2 to grooving along to tunes on TV, Jo's innate connection to music was evident from the start. It wasn't long before she discovered the transformative power of music, igniting a passionate desire to pursue it as a career. As a natural storyteller, Jo draws inspiration from real-life experiences, infusing her music with raw emotion and authenticity.
With a remarkable ability to effortlessly blend soul, blues, country, and rock into her own signature style, Jo has captivated audiences across the country since 2011. Sharing stages with esteemed acts such as Darryl Braithwaite, Suzi Quatro, and Shannon Noll, Jo has left an indelible mark with her soulful voice and unwavering passion.
In 2023 Jo was accepted as a Mentee in the Australian Independent Record Labels Association's 'Women in Music Mentor Program' for 2023/ 2024 and worked with incredible acts in the industry; including CMAA's 2023 female country music artist of the year 'Amber Lawrence' and 'Tania Doko' (of Bachelor Girl). When played an upcoming future unreleased song, Tania described Jo's vocal as 'Whitney Houston meets Dolly Patron'.
Beyond the spotlight, Jo is a staunch advocate for mental health, using her music as a platform to create a safe space for vulnerability and authenticity.
With plans to release original music in the near future, Jo aims to continue touching hearts and reaching new audiences with her dynamic creations and soul-stirring covers.
Armed with big dreams and an abundance of fervor, Jo embarks on a journey to positively impact the world and connect with kindred spirits through her music, and change lives in the same way that music has saved hers...
